There is no plain face, no contrast texture, no visual break. From every angle, the chair reads as a single unified sculptural form in pure white with gold. The Plisse Blanc’s profile is its first statement. Viewed from the side — as in the product photograph — the chair’s silhouette reads as a continuous flowing curve: the high backrest arcs forward at the top, the seat curves down and outward at the base, and the ribbed pleating runs vertically across this entire curved form like the fluting on a classical column. The pleating is dense and precise — fine parallel ribs that catch light differently at every angle, creating a surface that appears to shift between bright white and soft shadow as the viewer moves around it. In direct sunlight or under a ceiling light, the ribbed surface sparkles with a texture that flat-upholstered chairs simply cannot produce.
